The average 6 year old stands under 4 feet tall, so designing a wayfinding system that students can see requires strategic placement of the graphics on the floors. The design reflects a mature style still carrying the theme of deconstruction and reconstruction. This system uses simple iconography with smaller supporting text in Simplified Chinese and English as 1st graders have not mastered Chinese or English language but are able to recognize simple iconography.
